A damaged structure left unsecured overnight often suffers more from weather and vandalism than it did from the original fire. Fire Damage Laser Cleaning's Board Up Services crews respond fast specifically to close that window.
We board windows and doors with weather-rated plywood, tarp compromised roofing sections, and where needed set up temporary fencing to keep the property secure until repairs begin from further exposure.

Overnight calls get the same live response and urgency as a weekday afternoon call.
Our tarping and board-up materials are rated to withstand real weather, not just look secure temporarily.
Local staging is why our Highland response times consistently beat crews driving in from out of the area.
Emergency board-up is priced the same regardless of the hour you call.
A detail Highland homeowners don't always think about is that a poorly secured board-up can actually violate local code or void certain insurance provisions if it's not installed to a minimum standard — plywood alone, loosely nailed, often doesn't meet that bar.
Several Highland jurisdictions require board-up work to meet a documented minimum standard, which is part of why we don't treat this as a quick, informal fix.
More than once we've arrived to reinforce a board-up job that looked fine but wasn't actually fastened to withstand real wind load — which is the exact scenario proper materials and fastening are meant to prevent.
A typical Board Up Services visit, from arrival to a fully secured property, usually wraps within two hours for Highland calls, which is fast enough to beat an incoming storm in most cases.
Every open window and door gets boarded with material sized and secured to actually hold, not just cover the gap.
We tarp exposed roofing immediately to stop water intrusion into the attic and living space below.
For larger losses, we install temporary fencing to control site access and reduce liability exposure.
An exposed fire-damaged property is a target; our board-up specifically closes off easy entry points.
Before boarding, our crew checks whether the opening itself indicates a larger structural concern that needs flagging.
Calling +1-866-484-1409 connects you to a live coordinator who dispatches a board-up crew immediately, any hour.
Materials come pre-loaded on the response vehicle so there's no delay picking up supplies en route.
Pricing for the full Board Up Services scope is confirmed on-site, in minutes, not over a callback.
The property isn't left until every window, door, and roof opening is properly secured.

Our emergency Board Up Services crews cover Highland and extend across Highland, MD, with materials staged locally for immediate dispatch.
Board-up materials are staged in bulk locally so a multi-property loss, like an apartment building, doesn't create a materials bottleneck across Highland. Our Highland crews also photograph the completed board-up for your records, confirming exactly what was secured and when.
